TERMS AND CONDITIONS
With any online purchase you accept the following terms and conditions:
All ceramic products on ohoak.com are 100% handmade in our studio in Nexø. As a consequence of this, the colour, glaze, size and shape may have minor variations from item to item. These characteristics are a guarantee of absolute authenticity and are inevitable when producing small batch ceramics, that is not mass produced. Also is it an inherent quality of the work I do.
It is therefore to be expected that the pieces you receive upon purchase can and will differ slightly from the pieces that you have seen on the photos on the webshop, unless it is specifically noted that it is a one-off piece.
Following credit cards are accepted on the webshop:
Visa/Dankort, Euro/Mastercard, American Express and Maestro Card.
It is also possible to pay with Google Pay, Apple Pay and Danish MobilePay.
Shipping costs are calculated before check out. Shipping is with GLS for Danish orders and UPS for foreign orders. If your country is not listed and you can not check out, please get in contact and I will calculate a price and set it up for you if possible. Some costs on shipping, especially outside Europe, are quite high.
When placing an order, an order confirmation will be sent to your e-mail. If you discover any mistakes in your information, please contact me as soon as possible, and I will hopefully be able to correct it before shipping.
All prices are including 25% Danish VAT, but without shipping. Some countries also have local taxes and/or import taxes, that I can not be held responsible for, nor can I tell the amount of local tax beforehand.
Payment will not be withdrawn, until the order has been shipped. It is not possible, that an amount greater than the one you have approved, can be deducted from your card.
An encrypted and secure SSL connection is used and only PBS can read your information. Neither my company nor any others will be able to read or retract data.
Your order will be sent within 5 business days. If the delivery for some reason will take longer, I will contact you by email. When the order is shipped, a fulfillment email, will be sent to you, along with a tracking number.
To pick up your order at the studio in Nexø is possible. Use the code STUDIOPICKUP at checkout and shipping will not be calculated. You will receive a fulfillment email, once the order is ready for pick up.
You may cancel your order at any time, providing it has not already been shipped. To cancel, please contact me as soon as possible, quoting your name and the order reference number.
If the pieces have already been shipped, a cancellation is of course not possible. In this case please follow the return policy below.
You have the right to regret your purchase within 14 days and an additional 14 days to return it to my studio. All returns due to regret, are on your own expense. The bought pieces must not be used before return.
Preferably reuse the same packing materials and wrapping as you received the items in.
Please wrap and pack everything very carefully, to be sure that the returned items are not damaged during shipping. If broken upon receival, a refund can not be issued.

Only delivery directly to the studio is accepted. NOT to Pakkeshop, COD or the like.
Once the pieces are received and reviewed, a refund will be issued to your bank account, excluding shippingcosts.
You have a 24 month warranty on your purchase and have the right to complaint if anything is wrong.
It is of course a requirement that the complaint is justified and that the defect is not caused by incorrect use of the product or other injurious behavior.
If a piece is damaged during shipping from me to you, I will replace or refund it. If a piece is defective due to manufacturing defects, I will replace or refund it too.
If the item is damaged due to daily use or normal wear and tear, this is at your own risk and responsibility.
You must complain within "reasonable time" after you have discovered the defect in the product. If you complain within two months after the defect is discovered, the claim is always timely.
Send an email stating the issue. Attach images if possible. I will get back to you with an evaluation. If the complaint is justified, we will in together find a solution. You can either get the piece repaired, replaced, refunded or a reduction in price, depending on the specific situation.
I will also refund your (reasonable) shipping costs for the return. Remember to get a reciept for shipping, so the cost can be refunded.

When you shop through this website the following information is needed:

- E-mail address
We register your personal information for the purpose of delivering goods to you only. Personal information registered are kept for five years, after which the data will be deleted.
We do not store customer data encrypted.
You will of course also provide your account number upon check out. This number is encrypted and only PBS can read it. It will remain registered with me (encrypted) to give me the possibility to issue refunds directly to you.
Information provided to make a purchase in this webshop, is never transmitted or sold in any way to third parties. As registered you always have the right to object to the registration. You also have the right to inspect the information recorded about you. You have these rights by the Privacy Act and inquiries on this topic should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.
